What do you say to people on this site that have little or no sense of humour?, people who are very serious?, do you think they are like that in real life?
I doubt the ones that come across as very serious are as so in real life, it's very difficult to read peoples tones and interpret exactly how they are being in messages, especially when you don't know them at all. I for one am highly amusng and greatly entertaining in the real world but I keep it well hidden on here!
Hi sleeps, just got back. Went to Lyme Park in Disley. Waste of time no deer in sight. Lunch at Waltzing Weasel in Hayfield, back via Glossop. Stopped at co-op for supplies ( liquid).
People on here consider me to be serious, aloof and grumpy. But that is because in some of the discussions on here I feel as though I am facing some sort of Sisyphean torment and often, it isnt worth it.
In real life I am farther from that than you can imagine. I hope it comes across that way occasionally, but fundamentally on such an anonymous site, I like to retain some decorum, so I guess I am quite aloof in that respect.
I still love Ice cream floats, well we called them coke flats and have made them for the kids and grand-kids, I must admit that I actually like them more than they did!!!
