Surviving nights out-any ideas?

I'm going for a night out with my gf and some of her friends. However I'm not looking forward to it. I hate Harry Potter so I'm meeting up with them after they've watched the new film. Then we're going to The Fat Duck restaurant which I've heard serves only weird "contempory" food which I can't stand and then we're going to a nightclub.
How can I go dancing in a nightclub when my feet are killing me
How will I manage going to a restaurant where I hate all the food?
How can I find shoes that are sexy but still comfy?
Do you think I could just pretend to be ill?

It's not THAT easy to fake illness. And I've been on AB all week complaining I'm bored and yet whenever anyone asks me to go out I never can be bothered! I feel I should go some of the girls are my friends too and I haven't seen them for months, but I just don't like what we'll be doing.
didnt u say yesterday she was ur ex girlfriend???
No, go to the Fat Duck, and for a giggle ask for Lamb sur la pied a tierre avec les petis pois au manic phall hot.

Question Author
Yes I did but like I said she always comes back to me.Calling her my ex was mearly a joke.I love her and she loves me and we will be together forever.

this is the menu. It's not as bad as I thought but what's wrong with normal food? Everytime I go anywhere, whether it's family or friends it always has to be somewhere like this where all the food is stupid and the helpings are miniscule.

Yes I'm not in Wales at the moment. I'm in London for the summer holiday staying in my gf's holiday apartment while she works.Well that was the plan but she's been working so often we've hardly had time to do anything!
dont go.

They probably wont miss you.

Probably have a better night without you won't they?
well u bring it on urself
ditto hayley

you are nothing but a walter mitty
definatly, they could probably do without the fairy stories, pretend your ill so they can have a good night out.
I think you should dump your girlfriend and find a nice waiter from the fat duck. haha :)
Question Author
hehe I don't think that will ever happen silversky hehe.I'm off now apparently the meal will cost over 150 pounds per person which I think is morally wrong but it's not me that's paying so can't explain. Wish me luck,I'm going to need it if I am to survive a night with a group of highly sophisticated medical specialists when I'm just an 18 year old school girl!
Have you made that menu up?

Cauliflower and chocolate jelly?
Pigs trotter and truffles?

Crikey, you'd have to pay me 80 to eat any of that!
You must be having a laugh, look at this dessert:

MACERATED STRAWBERRIES
Black olive and leather pure, pistachio scrambled egg

Leather puree and scrambled eggs with strawberries????
That's Heston Blumenthal for you...he is more of your mad scientist than a chef. He's a strong advocate of molecular gastronomy.
