maybe bednobs's remarks were ill timed, but I can understand where she's coming from. i also dislike people i don't know calling me hon etc, and i have to admit cringing when I see posts that end with xxx's, all a bit too 'cutesy' for my liking.

That said though, I don't mind big mamma at all, not really had much to do with the posts she comments on, so can't really form an opinion of her. But if she really is as nice as everyone else makes out, then it's a good thing and long may she stick around :-)

Hi BOO - I'm ok thanks. Been feeling a bit soppy today as my brother's son (21) has been missing for just over a month now & it's getting to us all - it's the not knowing.

Also, I understand what you mean about bednob's comments, but there's a difference between thinking things & actually saying them. Anyone could see this was an unusually nice thread & if bednobs had have thought, rather than said, it could have stayed that way. Ne'er mind!

P.S. I won't send you any kisses then, but here's one for baby BOO. -x- ;o}

Sorry to post on your thread, leelapops - long story....

Thank you too BM. It's a complete mystery & my brother's been on to the police, etc. This particular nephew has been living with a woman who has two children of her own & who is a few years older than himself. He told my bro & sis-in-law that they were moving into a static caravan on a site somewhere in Essex, but couldn't give them an address as the person who owns it, isn't allowed to sub-let. Anyway, he phoned my other nephew who lives at home with my brother, just over a month ago & said "Tell Mum & Dad I'll be round for lunch tomorrow". Not only did he not turn up, his mobile has been switched off ever since that last call - even though he usually texts them & his younger sister on a daily basis. Alerts have been put out for anyone who knows him, to keep a look out.

He's never, ever, done anything like this before, so that's why we're all beside ourselves with worry....

It must be all the more of a worry as you say it is out of character for him to do this , and odd that he didn't ring or text to explain why he missed the lunch . I guess you can hope that he is still with the gf and her children and at least not alone somewhere. It must be such a worry for you all not hearing from him . :-) x

Phew, I can't believe I've managed to get that off my chest today & yes, I do feel better fo it WN.

My 'little' brother (5 years younger than me) are very close & I've been really worried for him, my sis-in-law & their two other children who are also a very close family.

I will let you know of any developments & I hope to God that there will be good news soon....thank you again. -xx-

My brother phoned me again last night, but no news as yet.

I've got swollen glands & a very sore throat today (minus tonsils), so probably another reason why I felt a bit low yesterday. Never rains but it pours - even the sun's gone in again! Ne'er mind!
