Is anyone nicer? :) Always a smile, a cheery word or two. Nice to everyone, and that's an achievement! So just wanted to tell you, bm, how good you are for my body and soul ;) (Don't kick this off, Ed!)
i know its a word of endearment - i just dont like it when used towards me. i wonder if it comes from being a southener? I dont tend to use words of endearment, but my friends from other parts of the country seem to
I'm a Southerner too bednobs & not keen on being called it by shop keepers, etc., but I accept it from BM as she's just a very nice, friendly person who means well. ;o}
hi leelapops
such a lovely thing for you to say about someone. Bigmamma is a lovely warm hearted person and i wish there were more people like her in the world xxx
I thought exactly the same leelapops - there's always the 'odd' one, who has to put a spanner in the works!
Mine & raysparx's recent thread was banned & neither of us could understand why - but as Ray said, p'raps it's 'cos it was too nice & had no arguments in it!
you asked a question and i gave you an answer, which is what i think this site is all about. If it upsets you that my answer does not acord with yours, then i feel mighty sorry for you. How do you cope with other peoples disagreement with you in real life?
I truththfully answered your "is anyone nicer?" question. Shame you couldn't keep your swearing and moaning to yourself. Oh dear, you've really ruined this thread for me now with your profanity, and it was such a nice thread too!
bednobs, I must say, it was a rhetorical question really, and if you need to be contrary can you do it elsewhere. Yes, there is always the odd one, and it's such a shame.
There's no need to get all faux-melodramatic bednobs, your weak digs are badly-aimed, and there's nothing wrong with trying to bring a little light into the world, as I am sure you are aware this thread was attempting.
of course. I notice though that you dont attack smudge for his/her also saying she or he can tale or leave people, or moan that she has ruined the tone of your thread or that she is making "weak digs". maybe she is allowed to have an opinion, but i'm not?
Hey bm, did your inspector person come? What was said? Did you get anything nice in town?!
Thank you for asking, he seems much better. A gentle walk around the park and a relaxed afternoon seem to be doing us both good!
Up to much? As you can see, it didn't take long for AB to revert to its usual self! Hence why I don't post a lot!
x
bednobs - I just love people like you who turn things around to suit yourself!
You rudely posted:
"personally, I could take her or leave her, I hate being called love by someone I don't know".
My reply to you was:
"I think that's just one of bigmamma's words of endearment. I could take or leave a few people on here - mostly the ones who are sarcastic & rude - just for the sake of it!".
Meaning you - so I don't think there would be any reason for leelapops to object to that response.
I have always thought bigmamma is a kind, friendly, genuine person, along with a few others & I'm sorry you don't feel the same way.
smudge, it's all good. There's nothing wrong with objecting to a***holes, and I guess that's why you're objecting to bednobs; some people are adamant that others shouldn't get away with being pleasant. Probably the kind of people that none of us like much!
Thank you leelapops - I never usually let anyone get to me on AB as it's only cyberworld - but I'm now sitting here in tears.... I meant well there, so why do people have to intrude & makes things go down hill? Why - what do they get out of it?....
Never mind leelapops and smudge , I apologise to bednobs if I have said love to her/him as I didn't know it isn't acceptable to all, and I will not do it to you again :-) The inspector is sending round a man to fix it next week , hope it won't rain a lot meantime. No exciting purchases in town , just a tin of radiator enamel , and lunch.:-)x
