Broken collarbone?

My 14 yr old son is sore around his collarbone, and think it may be broken. But there is no swelling and he cannot think of anytime this may have been broken.

What are the symptoms of a broken collarbone, and if it is broken, what is the treatment?

My mum had a broken collar bone or clavicle as we in the trade call it. Get to hospital immediately for X ray.

my youngest son broke his collar bone a few months ago. it will be very tendet too the touch and maybe look a bit lop sided when he stands up straight take him for an xray is the best thing to do. kids heal very quick. my son is 7 and only wore a sling for 3 weeks

Hi. thanx for the replies. we went to A&E this morning and found out it isn't broken, but the ligments surrounding it are probably sprained.
