Hi
This happened to me years ago.
I had a tooth removed and a week or so later a sharp peice of tooth, only tiny, started to work its way out of my nearly healed gum.
If the extraction went well, then your gum should be pretty much back to normal after 2 weeks.
The best thing to do is leave it another day or so, rinse your mouth in cooled boiled salted water. If you can pull the bit of tooth out yourself then do so....
If not the dentist will be able to pull it with a pair of tweezers.
It will not be painfull... Promise!!!!
If you just leave it, it may get infected and that will lead to more problems... best get it sorted asap!!
