then get a filter on your PC and ban Youtube for a start, then he cant copy
god Im gonna sound like my mum here but if his mates jumped off a cliff would he follow?? He needs to be taught how to work out whats right and wrong for himself.
oh i have watched it now, did he use a mobile phone or a camcorder? whichever it was, remove it from him immediately and hide the lead to the laptop he used to upload it, tell him he is not going to use electronic equipment in your home until he stops behaving like a caveman discovering fire.
why are you letting a 13 year old put stuff like that on youtube for anyway? where you at home when he did that silly thing btw? where you sitting next to him when he uploaded it onto youtube?
you and him want to thank your lucky stars that the gas from the lighter did not spray towards him
how would you have felt then?
hed probably have major burns
i think you should be ashamed of yourself for even putting that link on a family site
yeah right i was im a real bad ******* mother go and **** your self . of couse i never sat next to him why he done it i never even knew about it till today . and i was not home when he done it i was working but hes 16 year old brother was here .
For Christ sake!! I expect every teenage boy has done very similar things, maybe some of you Mums just don't realise what young lads get up to!! I know I did and got burned!! its all part of growing up, its wrong, yes of course it is, but cmon, he isn't a hell raiser or an arsonist!! he is a typical boy, like it or not!!
thanks a lot rats xx i am worried about him playing with fire and what damage it could do to him or others i did think about talking to the fire station b4 about him , he has only ever done this as far as i know any way . least it was in my garden not in a park some where
crossroads!! you arsonist, I think you should be flogged half to death and made to watch a thousand fire lecture films and be put into a detention centre for five years!!
I set fire to a wellington boot on a bonfire that then stuck to my leg when I tried to kick it, I still have a scar 40 years later lol
I don't think you are any of those things at all.
I see the same concerns as you, the local firemen would be a good idea is all.
I think he has a quick mind and he is interested in the chemical reactions try to 'guide his interest' was all I meant. I suggest showing the person who supports him ( ed psych. if your lucky) being shown so that they will appreciate your concerns too.
My daughter sits next to a kid who has adhd and his speciality is the solar system and anything related to it! - the stuff I've learned as a by product is amazing. Could he be as excited by the relationships of things in physics for example - I have a teenage son too , they do daft things. What matters is what you do after that with him, I expect it was a big shock to see it in living technicolour tho' lol. Reminded me a bit of Magnus Pike ( showing me age ) with his descriptive powers!
My friends kids were a bit parky having had an outdoor party for a couple of hours and left the doors fully open one clever kid resolved the cold issue by dragging in the patio heater and sparking it up ... now that' s a fire!
i was very shocked when he showed me to day he is a great kid but does do silly thing we are going to stop him looking on you tube .lots of kids and people have been burned in fires and i would never want him to suffer like that so i will talk to fire station thanks alot
I hope his ambition in life is not to join the fire service, I know someone who had a conviction for arson, then applied some time later for the fire service and got laughed out of the room. Well really he never got to the interview he was a total joke, just like your son.
I bet you wish you hadn't bothered sharing this now! I know I would. All men love fire, well at most of the barbecues or chimeras I've had the pleasure to be near at summer parties, it's when the axe with the slightly loose head comes out to chop the next kindle, that worries me! You know what you have to do about it without being told, you know him better than any of us and I'm sure you'll deal with it appropriately. My son filmed him and his mates jumping off things, which were getting bigger, a quick talk about the needs of a paraplegic seemed to do the trick.
