Hair Dye

On the instructions on hair dye it says that you could be more likely to suffer an allergic reaction if you have a tattoo, does anyone know why this is?

Apparently....... Tattoo ink is 95-99% alcohol 5-1% dye pigments dying hair put more pigments onto your skin thus increasing chance of a reaction
