i have been put on these tablets today.
is there an alternative to tablets as i cannot take them to save my life.
i asked and the women, snottily replied "no, all infections are treated with tablets."
i asked a simple question and without any form of rudeness!
is there anything else i can take?
(it says on the packet to be swallowed whole, do not crush or chew. i'm at a bit of a loose end)

I was prescribed some liquid Erythromycin, as the tablet foorm was cauing an allergic reaction. when you say "the woman" do you mean the pharmacist? If you have so much trouble swallowing pills, you'd probably be best going back to your GP and asking if he/she can prescribe something else. There's a plethora of drugs out there, there must surely be an alternative?
Not that this will likely be of much help -but I was prescribed them and I will NEVER put another one of those tablets near my mouth again. In saying that its obviously not the same for everyone.
I was then treated with Penicillin -OK it took a tad longer but the end result was the same.
BTW -she WAS very rude to you .
