well its my birthday tomorrow and there ya go have no plans, rang manfriend to ask him across for dinner, just told me he has a meeting tomorro night, oldest son dont know whats appening there, the youngest havent seen him in days, and always has no money! so i could have worked should have taken up the offer cos no one gives a s..t!

what made me angry was that i spoke to said manfriend last week and he said i will see you next week so i assumed that i would see him for my birthday and then he tells me he has a meeting and doesnt know when it will finish, keep thinking this is a ploy, but he is like the advert"u get exactly what it says on the tin"he says he has posted my pressie but its not the same as seeing him on this day!

Awww I agree with the others, stuff them and go out and spoil yourself rotten! Buy things you don't really need (but have always wanted), get lunch in a lovely restaurant, then do a bit more shopping and go home to get ready to either paint the town red or to have a cosy night in with some chocs, bottle of wine and a good movie :o)

I agree with the other AB-ers...I'd have a really relaxing day and take it easy but put on some fave togs and go and treat yourself. I think mums are special - get your sons to log on to here and we'll give them a peice of our minds :o)

aww it really hurts when people are too busy for your birthday, I know the feeling well!, Why not use the opportunity to do something just for you?! I know I would definately now, life is too short to sit at home feeling sorry for yourself (something I do a lot!)

have a think about something you would really like to do and stuff everyone and go and do it!!!

know the feeling. My husband can't understand why i got upset when he didn't get me a birthday card. Wasn't bothered about a present (we buy things as we need/want them) but a card would have been nice. Was I unreasonable?
Treat yourself to something,flowers,perfume,chocolate or DVD (or all of them LOL)

thank you all, firstly have limited funds cant go out to shop till i drop, and a massage would be lovely but costly. havent a bucketfull of mates but popular i thought, this is for diane, you have created your own monster cos your hubby thinks that even a card is a waste of money, this is so like i was when i was married, you want to be acknowledged, its like a doubled edged sword, here i am trying to tell someone! shut up Heatherx
