AB Community

I now see AB as a small community, where we can help folk and be helped, check on some to see how theyre doin, have the gossip and some banter. Made up of all sorts of folk, different personalities with a variety of knowledge and some laughter thrown in too!
Its addictive tho, took several hours to go make my tea last night as I felt glued to the keyboard lol

Hi andrea :-) x
I agree weeal , it is like a community , we are pixels with usernames in theory , but I must say that when I am typing my answers I visualise the person I am "talking " to .
I do enjoy the site otherwise I wouldn't be on it , I do like to think I have made some good friends on here and there is a wide range of characters , all delightfully varied .
I do know I have learned a lot too since I have been here since March 07, and have been given help when I have needed it . I can be rather chatty but , hey , and I have learned to sit out of the more argumentative threads , they can scare me a bit at times.
sorry , wakey wakey , didn't mean to send you off to sleep.
xx

Hiya, all!! I think you're absolutely right, weeal - this is a nice site & most of the folk on it are nice ( in various categories, not just this one). I was going for a drink this afternoon, but just decided to log on & see who was about, then I saw this thread & had to join in. I could be here for a while...
By the way, has anyone heard from puddicat yet??

Och, aye, indeed! We ended up in Wales because Mr K thought Scotland would be too cold & wet for his liking - most of the time it's bl**dy freezing here & pouring rain! Mind you, I've never felt so at home since I left Scotland as a young lass - the community here is lovely & everyone looks out for everyone else. The countryside's (almost) as beautiful as Scotland, too. (Their malt whisky's no' bad, either!)
