why do women use this? girl at work uses it by the bottle and her face is pure orange in fact i have never seen any female who uses it have any other colour face so therefore what is the point of it? surely its better to be a bit pale than walk around looking like a giant orange? whats wrong with being pale anyway i think its quite attractive in a female, do these women look in the mirror before they leave the house?

I use it but I never look orange, I use one that suits my skin type and it looks very natural. It can look lovely, celebs use it and I don't think thay look orange!

Funny post! I think they do look in the mirror, in fact girls who apply fake tan to this extent probably spend hours grooming in front of the mirror, ironically enough. I guess they are under the impression they look better with it, much in the same way that we women wear makeup to cover our flaws. Maybe don't appreciate that they look quite so orange when they are out of the house. It always looks better in the house! I wish people would find one that matches their skin tone and try to look more natural. Bright orange ain't a good look.

bob there is a lady at work who has started wearing a lot of fake tan on her face and it is so orange she glows. It also makes her slight moustache look darker and now I can' tlook her in the eye when she speaks to me :)
I have quite pale skin and I'm too scared to use fake tan in case it goes orange and I look daft. Also, if you put it on your face then you have to put it on the rest of your body as well and that's too much like hard work for me :)

I love looking like an orange, the trick is to buy the cheapest brand of fake tan, apply thickly to the face and no where else, If only I could grow a full beard..I would be a hottie then!

I'm sorry but I feel very strongly about this and felt the need to pipe up, having just returned from 16 mins on the sunbed and a spray tan.....
I totally agree that orange people look ridiculous, they need to learn the art of exfoliation to create a good base for a fake tan...and apply with what i call my 'mitty'.. this ensures a lovely even all over colour and which i can now apply all over in about 3 mins!!
The reason for my obsession with fake tan and looking brown is that it makes me feel more attractive, when I'm pasty I feel horrid and look ill, I also feel it makes my naked body appear not so hideous...what is slightly hilarious though is that I have burnt my butt today!!

I couldn't be bothered with all the faffing about with it to be honest. Much prefer to look pale and interesting.x
