"Oh don't be frightened, it's only God moving his furniture around"......and I beleived it. :)
Hiya Redbel. Thanks for being the only person likely to reply to my question lol. I had just seen an earwig lurking around in the hall (thats what made me remember the "earwig in your ear going mad" saying)
With the thunder and lightening thing, I remember that one too, and also remember being told to take your hairgrips out if there was lightening! lol

Yes I am well thankyou Redbel , when I see a magpie I always say "Hello magpie , I hope your family's well " , got that one off my sister though , not mum. :-)
The usual ones off mum ....don't sit on the cold pavement , you'll get piles......eat your crusts , gives you curly hair......

Oh that just got me thinking ...... 7 months ago my bro came to visit and told me he was going to be a grandad..anyway, as we where chatting he noticed a Magpie and I said....Oh lets wait for another....you wouldn't beleive it but two more turned up and I looked at my brother and said.... one for sorrow two for joy.....three for a girl....
He has 5 sons and always wanted a daughter....so I said to him...I bet she's having a girl......
She gave birth to a little girl today at 2pm..6lb 12oz and they have called her Isabella...
Must be some truth in all these superstitions :))))
Oh and ziggy you haven't been on your best behaviour.....Leave Dot alone eh!!!!!
