Oh blimey what a dilemma ! (I laughed cos I think it serves them right lol)

What would you do in this situation?

You are seeing someone behind your partners back. You meet up one night in secret telling your partner you are out with your mates and something happens which involves you and said bit on side witnessing a crime, you give statements to the police and think thats the end of it. Then horror of horrors you find out the police may need you as a witness in court. Would you come clean to your other half or would you keep schtum and hope they didnt find out?

aww gawd 4get thats an awful thing to happen :( and pippas story too, i would have slapped him daft !!

yeah rev behave lol ...cheers boo :D

Well she had been my first girlfriend, we lived together and then she left me for another..............and I got myself another, too.
I was still deeply in love with her although I knew that she was a bit of a 'player'..........She had moved away with her new girlfriend but still had family where we lived and so had 'popped' back one weekend...........and she came round to the house...
Question Author
no excuse jack, no excuse lol
You're probably quite right, pixi.............lol

In my defence, can I say that I wouldn't do it now ?

The fact that I probably wouldn't get the opportunity is neither here nor there.........:o)
jackthehat you are a wind up, your first girlfriend - was that when you was preggers with your baby boy!!! haha, ive read your posts the in pregnancy section! lol :-)
Yes, actually. She left me when he was 4 months old.............the decision to have him was a mutual one, but she ended up walking away.
Why would that be a wind up? lesbians can have babies, you know.
I believe you've reverted to thinking about stereotypes, confused................
yeah i know, but read the other posts in pregnancy you will know what i mean,

Read other posts then she always petends to be a man.

Im not desputing that lesbians cant have babies atal, :-)
and have very strong views about homophobes, I read her posts about gay kissing yesterday
I have NEVER pretended to be a man................I just found it interesting that when I started posting on here, everyone responded to me as if I 'was' a man despit the fact there is an earlier thread on which I introduced myself as a 43 year old lesbian..............Waldo and B00 found it and had me sussed early on..........I then decided that I would try and make 'neutral' posts but when challenged directly I would confirm that I am indeed a woman...............that happened yesterday in R&S........
And I can't for the life of me think why you find my posts to warpig3 bogus...............
allright dave
I thought jack was a man. Reading her posts, I have to admit that nothing at all should have led me to believe that at all...it was just me jumping to a conclusion.

I have no doubt in my mind that jack never pretended to be anything ~ she quite cleverly managed to reply to Qs without letting on what her gender was. And why should she?

I don't read every section of AB, and quite often don't read every thread in a popular section. I had missed the 'admission' of being a 43 year old lesbian ~ however my opinion of jack has not swayed. Whatever the gender, jack is an honest and eloquent ABer.
I never mentioned anything was bogus atall, not that one warpigs i mean, just said you was wind up in this one i meant it in the niceest possible way, dont have to get all defensive i was messing with you read my post again i wasn't being nasty in any way.

Just the posts i have read from you, you seem to go along that you are a man. Yes people assume genders on here and assuming can be the mother off all fcuk ups some times.
So i apologise if i caused any offence :-)
Heck, I even thought Ethel was a woman...
exactly I was in a post in relationships and dationg yesterday where person had said they Kept cheating on their boyfriend etc. and everybody came on calling person a she. But I then asked why assume it a girl just because it said they had a boyfriend.
Question Author
gawd AB never fails to confuse me lol
It is strange how we just assume though and we can all put our foot in it at times.
It's ok to assume as long as you aren't offensive with it ~ as 4get quite rightly pointed out when a Q is asked about girlfriends and boyfriends it is natural to assume the poster is of the opposite sex.

I don't think that is offensive, but it is indeed an assumption. Unless the question is posted ''I am a gay man and I am having problems with my boyfriend'' I tend to go with the mainstream view...I apologise if that offends!
