Oh blimey what a dilemma ! (I laughed cos I think it serves them right lol)

What would you do in this situation?

You are seeing someone behind your partners back. You meet up one night in secret telling your partner you are out with your mates and something happens which involves you and said bit on side witnessing a crime, you give statements to the police and think thats the end of it. Then horror of horrors you find out the police may need you as a witness in court. Would you come clean to your other half or would you keep schtum and hope they didnt find out?

ooh so bit like the hollyoaks storyline. If I was horrible enough to cheat on my partner then I'd be horrible enough to lie. They wouldnt know when you'd be in court or anything unless it was a big case.

Yep like 4get here, if I was devious enough to lie in first place to my partner I'd try and get away with it for as long as possible. Yea God's though, the person involved in it must be sweating....lol

Hum! Reminds me of when I skived of college with a (platonic honest!) male friend and went to the cinema, un beknownst to me they were filming in high street and that night watching TV with then bf there was I on film on local news walking down High Street with another man - oops!

I wouldnt be in that situation in the first place, i couldnt do it behind someones back, but if that really happened i would laugh too, @rseholes and serves them right too hahahahahahaha.

i think whoever it is probably would keep schtum seeing as they are liers and cheaters they wouldnt come clean cos they are cowards.

This actually happened to me !!
Although it was an incident I witnessed whilst we were actually in bed.............Nope, that doesn't seem to make sense..........what I mean is that we were 'in bed' at my house and alerted to something happening outside.........so statements were duly taken and it was herstatement that they wanted to use in court..........it was a bit tricky trying to explain to her partner and mypartner quite why she needed to travel the 100 miles to my town on a specific date.
There were many furtive telephone calls between us but fortunately the case was dropped before it got to court and we managed to cobble some sort of tale together to explain our panic and stress...........

yer but can you imagine this poor girl was frantic worrying about him because he hadnt come home only to get the news he'd died with her. Worst thing was in papers next day pics of him and mistress spending xmas day together opening presents on front page and she was only mentioned inside

Another one it reminds me of is the 9/11 story of the guy who was feared dead by his wife...only he hadn't gone into work and was with his mistress.

The wife telephoned him and he told her he was at work. The plonker.
