Hello all,
my friend has been a bit moody lately, i think he's been having too many fat days, anyway, he's got a crap diet, eat fish and chips all the time and drinks like a fish, all of which leads to him puting on a few pounds around the tummy and a few around his bottom too .... (he's very senstive about it). I was wondering how i can convince him to stop drinking and eating junk food so that he can lose a bit of weight and feel better about himself.............?
It rains a lot where he lives so there's no point in gettin him to go jog about outside. And he's cheap so gym is out of the question. Any other ideas>???
Thanks for any help!

fish dont actually drink very much its one of the myths of the animal kingdom, a better example would be a full grown lion which drinks for 10 mins at a time 3 times a day
would he like to join us for a fat / big person night out lol

are you talking about a lion or a whale there, bob?

my friend's not quite fat (and i've seen some ginormous people on here who make him look like a small panda in comparison) but i just think he should take care of himself a bit more, eat healthily, exercise more and stop going on the p1ss every nite (he'll get wrinkles from that).
This site used to be about helping people and giving answers where needed. Now it seems to be simply about abuse, cliques and mindless chatter.
blu3wave- does he live too far away for you to visit? How about if you go up there for a weekend armed with lots of healthy ingredients and show him how to cook a few nice meals from scratch. Go for some walks and do some yoga or something!! If he has a great time with you the chances are he will want to continue with this healthy way of living as he will feel so much better.

Oh I dont think he'll like yoga, he's more into aerobics etc and likes being energetic. Plus, he can easily watch daytime tv cooking shows to improve his diet..... but you're right, i may have to go and help him shop one of these days, i drive him back and forth from the supermarket all he time as he doesnt have a car (fish n chips shop and a corner shop across the road from him :S) ..... but i'll make an effort to check what he's buying from nowon.

i'm not ugly, so can you stop imagining that you're hurting my feelings.... boohoo

and its not like fat ppl can lose weight, not easily anway, if it was so easy, then there wouldnt be any obese (gorrilla size) ppl in the world anymore, ?
