Well I'm always wary of answering my front door as I'm never too sure who it is, however I always open my back door as I'm certain that it's friends or relatives.

Depends upon whether front or back relates to something in particular or is an expressed preference. China Doll - we know you're not backwards about coming forward, which is why it may work with you. BOO, when talking doors I'd be careful who you open them to, though I'd be more wary of those at the back.

Hardly anyone in our street uses their back doors and visitors always knock at the front , I never use the back door to go out , only to let the dog out into the garden.
Front if you are asking something else.
I always start at the front of a book or newspaper.

Newspapers it's usually back to front. Bus it's usually back or middle, and top rather than bottom, although that can change depending on how warm/cold it is, it's usually warmer downstairs you see. Front for the rest as I don't have a back door, got a door that exits onto the balcony but I guess the back door must be exit only then, much the same as in my sex life. Like prodding yourself in the eye with a sharp stick that is!
