Hi , do you have a collection of anything ? It may be something you have avidly collected over the years , or maybe been given as presents . If so , is your collection out on display or hidden in the garage or attic ? :-) xxx
Hi bigmamma
I have collected Edinburgh Chrystal for years. Every piece of it is lying in a kitchen cupboard.
After I got rid of my wall unit when we moved house, that is where it stays now. Shame really.
Guess I will have to wait until wall units are fashionable again. lol
Hi bigmamma take it you are now out if the dungeon and youve lost your green and the number 1.
The only thing that I collect is ex girlfriends but think that lippyduck has cured that now god dam her.
By the way did you see knobbynonut in the dungeon and if so hope you parytied with him.
What did you get put in there for in the first place as I cant believe that you got put in the nasty dingy little place
McDonald happy meal toys still in the wrappers, I've got hundreds of them in bags in the cellar. It started off when the kids got doublers and has been going on for years now. I was thinking of giving them to a hospice or something.
Hi Bigmamma, i collect fairies! Tne pretty sparkly ones. i don't have loads, just enough but i love them, could spend hours looking at them cause they are so pretty!
I also have a bit of a thing for tinkerbell that you may have noticed on my myspace page. :-)
I collect perfume bottles, I used to have about 120 but I sold some on ebay. I still have about 30 and I keep 6 of the nicest ones on my dressing table the others are in a box. The ones on show are all blue glass and I love to just look at them they are really pretty
Porcelain dolls is my thing, not the cheap tatty ones you see in the shops but the mail order ones that cost over 100.00 generally. They aren't on show at the minute as we are planning on shelving the alcoves in the lounge to display them and other stuff.
Cruella , that is lovely , you will have to get it out again at some time :-) x
Knobby , hi, yes I am back to normal , knobbynonut was in the dungeon but he does make some odd noises ...think he called it singing.....lol...
When are your good self and lippyduck flying out btw ? x
Its a rather bizarre thing, but Ive collected metal airline wings from airlines all my life. It started as a child and it just continued. Ive framed many of them, but some remain in a boxuntil the day I lay them out in the format I like. I do have some other things Ive collectedits all a bit eclecticI have over 300 framed items in the vicarage, a collection of old railway timetables, menus from the ships Ive sailed on from my childhood, ranging from the SS France to the QM1, and I have a large collection of unusual religious art. Im torn between my favourites in that depart mentits either the Islamic art, or the Judaic Art..but then I have a pair of Cappuccino monkswho always look as if theyre quietly talking about meIve set them next to Boo Bee my Swedish Angel with the size 42 long breastsshes hilarious..Isnt it funny the things we collect? And if I ever get around to it, I have about 300-600 airline amenity kits I need to put on ebay
Ohand if that werent bad enoughIm collecting travel related matchbooks for one of my children in Moldova. He has about 200 packs so far and each time I go, I bring more..
Sandrajo , my son had a heap of maccys toys until he had a clear out when he moved out , pity you weren't near as they went in the garbage. ;-)
Unrulyjulie , I would have guessed fairies if asked , and oh there are some really lovely ones out there aren't there . I love your myspace layout . :-)
Puusnboots , have you got all sort of colours and shapes in your perfume bottles and do they have a scent still ? :-)
Gosh skyep , I haven't seen a 45 record in years , I gave mine , nearly 100, to a local radio station , that is when they used to play 45s :-0
Hi daffy , those dolls are really lovely , I was given one last xmas and she is up on the table on the landing . :-)
Legend , nothing at all , not even in your past ? :-)
Village Vicar , wow , now you have some collections , I bet it would take hours to formally set them all up .:-)
Yes I have different colours pink, black, green and blue but my favourites are the blue ones, one in particular is an irredescent petrol blue, the glass description is called oil on water. I can only describe it as the colour of petrol when you see it on a wet road. some of them do still have a perfume smell but not very strong.
Hi smudge love, what another lovely collection , fairies , same as unrulyjulie . My mum had some thimbles too.
I bet they all take some dusting eh ? :-)
xx
My mother had those Pelham string puppets to play witjh - which were passed onto us, and are now stored away in their original boxes, because my sons thought they were "soppy". Now I hear they're quite collectable.
