As some of you will know, my Hubby has been quite ill again with Cancer and into his first week of chemo.
Well, he felt a bit better today so decided to make simple dinner for us as we have had a terrible week.
He cooked steaks, veg and when he brought the meal through, the chips were all cut in the letters. LUV YOU.
I felt great. Does your other half ever surprise you with small meaningful gestures.

One of my son's friends brought his new 10 day old baby girl Jasmine to see us, she was so sweet and was making faces and little squeaking noises the whole time but she is so tiny and cute!
awww how brill and romantic was that, you lucky girl
nice to hear hubby is feeling better

Erm, no, never
That's lovely Cruella- lol. Bless...hehe, sorry to hear you've had a bad week though, especially on top of what you're already going through.

Mr Boo ocasionally surprises me (though not always in a good way!), however todays smile was brought about by Mini Boo picking her nose and thrusting her finger towards me going " big bogey!"
That is so sweet of him cruella , awww . Hope you have a better week this coming one . :-) xx

Picture it. Crying over a plate of chips. lol Yes, I was!
That's so lovely, cruella!

My small meaningful gesture came from my son at lunchtime. Both boys always argue over where to sit, and today I heard one saying "I'm sitting next to Dad." Big brother then said "I'm sitting next to Mum - she's beautiful."

Thanks bigmamma
Unfortunately we go through the same every week for the next five weeks. But hey, it has to get better. Been this road before.
He cheered me up with his chips. Now I have to think of something out of the norm to surpise him.lol

bet you just swelled with pride when your Son said that about you.
Hi cruella, just remembered something that brought a smile to my face today, a little black baby being carried on the back of his mother in one of those material things. I think he was tired and he started to suck his thumb, tiny thing he was :0)
I could barely get my head through the kitchen door!! It was even nicer because it was overheard and not said actually TO me. (He probably knows I'm a nosey old bag and wanted extra roasties...!)

cruella, you are both really brave and strong coping with everything and obviously have a very strong bond together which also helps. I hope every week improves for you both. xx
Your hubby does sound pretty fantastic xxxxx

Hi Cruella,

That is so sweet. I'm sure it pleased him as much as it did you.
My happy moment happened today. My 5 year old niece won a goldfish at a streetfair and she was walking around, beaming telling everyone I won a fish! I won a fish!
She was just so happy with herself. I was so touched by her happiness.
Hi cruella, you have just brought a loving smile to my face, that is one of the nicest things i have heard of in a long time, love and best wishes, to you and your hubby, megan. xxxxxxxxx :-))
