Now that ChatterBank has been restored Body & Soul can return to it proper function.

A two part question:

Is it true that sex would be even better if we had only waited until it was over before beginning?

and

Would an extra ten minutes really make that much difference?

..... like slowly unwrapping a sweet, taking the foil off a packet of ciggies, or unscrewing the top off a cheap bottle of supermarket wine ....
I only have sex once a year, usually at a minute to 12 on New years eve,so it counts as 2 different years.lol

Foreplay? A poor but nonetheless requisite substitute for a lack of passion. Oh well, all is not lost. Just don't neglect the best part of all, afterplay, the encore to a brilliant performance letting each other know how much you appreciate them. Standing ovations not always mandatory.

Afterplay - The smoking of cigarettes and burning the sheets, mutterings of appraisal and approval, maybe even a few toast crumbs after working up and satisfying the twin appetites.

The question is, do you make the toast before and take it into the boudoir, or jump out of bed to make it afterwards, unless you're not hungry of course.
A) Mibs - Afterplay is vastly overrated... I mean, what does a girl have to do to get some sleep?! Jeesh... we don't all want to talk y'know. Or snuggle.

B)Theland - I brought some expensive wine the other day that was on sale quite cheap... now I'm confused.

C) I'm off for a fag now trigs.... How much do you want to be me right now?! (I'm kidding, I'm just jealous of your clean lungs).
China - Hidden Vineyard red from Asda, does the job quite well at around two quid a bottle, offset of course by the ridiculous price of the fags.
.... or is it Hidden Valley? I never read the titles, just the entrance fee!
Hidden Valley sounds like a fantastic title for a kids book.

Is mibs allowing random chatter on their thread?

China, You may not want to talk and cuddle but what about my feelings???
Fine... you talk, I'll cuddle.... And try not to snore.

Will that work?

(You can get up to make the toast too)
China - Mibs - Trigs :-
Would you agree that too much preperation could be counterproductive?
You could open a bottle of the wrong / flat wine, put on the wrong music or the wireless blows a fuse at an awkward moment, or you forget to turn the stove off and the toast gets burned, triggering the smoke alarms and sending out a fire crew!
So is simple spontenaity the answer?
But where is the romance in that?
Spontaniuty (sp) is usually better but that's more to do with the fact that I rarely plan anything I think.

Romance in this day and age is a long dead dinosaur.... Along with chilvary. Not to mention occasionally nausia inducing.

Hold you horses there trigs.... I said romance was dead... not my libido!
Oh dear! What a lot I have to learn.
Does that mean that I should not open the door for my date, not buy her chocolates and flowers, not pour her the wine, not turn down the lights, not tune the wireless into the light programme or Luxembourg, and not suggest we slip into something more comfortable?

Well then, I can only let my imagination run riot on how to treat a lady in 2007.

Any useful pointers whilst I ponder this problem?
