bad or good?
2 Answers
why would god make, or atleast give life to, a bad person? at what point is someone defined as bad? is there a change? a defining event? maybe god is unable to control our environment, and its this that gives birth to the bad. i dont know. do you? what do you think god would do if a bad person realised it was all wrong, tries his whole life to change, he doesnt succeed to the full, would god punish, or would he forgive? maybe bad isnt really bad. maybe bad is just what society says is bad. what if i dont believe its bad?

You have to believe in God and believe that God created humans in order to start to answer... But generally speaking, we all know what we like. We like love and hugs and people to be nice to us. We don't like nastiness, guilt, pain etc. So, a "bad" person is one who seems to have no regard for our unspoken moral code- one who enjoys inflicting pain, or who is nasty, selfish, rudem cruel etc. That's not to say they don't deserve to live or to have been created, since they may well either be like that because they have been abused previously. Or in some cases they are just mentally ill. Or they believe that what they are doing is right- like in the case of terrorists. You are asking if God would punish or send to heaven or hell someone who tried to repent.
I think the idea is that if you are sorry and you try to be better behaved in the future, you will go to "heaven". But I think personally that this is just a fable invented to try to persuade people to live a kind life. I personally don't need the threat of heaven or hell to live my life kindly- I do it because I appreciate that you should treat others like you would like to be treated yourself, and I also believe that what goes around comes around.

good answer mate, i see the point you made, indeed, you do have to believe in god really to answer these. i dont personally, but was curious of the answer, especially by religious people, but i suppose your point of the whole thing just been a fable as well. i was more thinking along the lines of, if i was god, what would i do?
the only thing i have to say is, im a little skeptial of "im a bad person because i was abused". i cant help thinking...if your abused yourself, you know how bad it is, so why do it back to someone else! of course, this is my own personal view, i know psychologists hold an entirley different set of theories.
