Why you saying that? Did you heed your own advise? Be honest! What a miserable sounding bunch some of you are....

I mean...why are we here? What's our purpose if we don't breed and move onward...If you can...and you're in love..and you're both happy...isn't a great waste and a shame if you don't do it? I would love to have kids...I'm not a fool...I'm not a halfwit...give me some credit....


Why on earth would I ever change my mind about having one?

I'm not and have never been afraid of hard work..I'd love children...and I doubt a couple of bad experiences of babysitting would do anything to change that...


Go on....if you've had kids....think yourself lucky..it took my brother four years of trying to have one....

I'm hoping I'll be there one day...cos believe you me....there won't be a child more loved than my own...

Oh and I haven't had any bad experiences babysitting....I was just following on from someone's post...I might get on well babysitting...

Kids seem to like me....dunno why though! LOL

Just have to say I waited till I was 31 to have my gorgeous daughter and I now wish I had done it way earlier...If you really want to be a Dad and know the girl is right for you then go for it I say :-) .... you''ll know when the time is right and only you can say that for sure...

Not a day goes by when I don't thank the universe for my little girl... best thing I have ever done and now the whole world is brighter and has more meaning for me... it amazing being a Mum so from one soppy woman I say go with your gut and good luck!!!

Awww...I'm sure everyone's behind you, Snap. Giving you the "downside" of parenthood is only because those of us who've gone before you really DO know that it turns your life upside down at times. Despite that - I'm sure the event'll make you deliriously happy.

Hey!! Snappy, Congrats dude. Nice to see you're about. Don't know how long you've been with your girl for, but if it's been a while tell her how you feel. Maybe give it a little while to make sure you do want a little baby Snappy. Don't rush straight into it. Have a little patience.

Oh yes ~ I did indeed take my own advice. I had a young brother & sister to take care of..as well as becoming a children's nanny which for the most part was 24 hour care. I did that for five years before having my own child.

I don't know if I had coped half as well if I hadn't have had that prior knowledge and experience. On the other hand I might have coped very well.
