A lack of vitamin B12 may change the surface of the tongue and shrink or thin the stomach lining. Any changes that occur in the stomach can put a person at risk for stomach cancer.
Also, People who have pernicious anaemia often feel tired and weak because the body is not getting enough oxygen, this would explain why sufferers of this condition feel cold
4GS answer is irresponsible. Go and get the blood tests done, the diagnosis in this instance is very simple and the treatment is simple and lasting. Please don't worry about stomach cancer scare-mongering. It's easy to copy-paste, better it is to listen to people who know.
