sleeping around....

Is 'sleeping around' considered to be acceptable and something to be bragged about publicly nowadays?
As in, the more people you sleep with, the more ''popular'' and party-loving/fun person you are ...... apparently !?
I'm not just talking about men but women too, for example, Kate Moss who's probably slept with most men (including ugly, non-ugly) in Britain and now, Janice, some nobody from some tv show bragging she's slept with a 1000 men!!??
Talk about cheap and easy, these women do it for free....

I guess ti depends on the people... some people find it acceptable but there will never be a standard, everyone will always have there own personal view on whether or not it is right to brag about that or not

I had a long term ex partner, who used to brag about how many women he had slept with (now realise he looked like Minty from Eastenders) But never saw it at the time! So think he may of been fibbing!!!!

But it made me feel inexperienced, as I never slept around

Well standards are dropping pretty quickly don't you think? These people who think sleeping around is the way to live your life, are most often linked to drugs or some other vile habit.... I suppose once you're hooked on drugs, you'll do 'anything'.

I do think standards have slipped.....these so called celebs sleep around because they can.....paparazzi outside the door....doesn't bother them....Now I'm gonna sound like an old fuddy duddy here, but I'm sure in the 50's and 60's the celebs did their best to be descreet.

Its not about being discreet, its about having a few moral restraints.... with these sort of ****** celebs in the news, its hardly surprising to see younger people follwing the same path., so the cycle continues. Does UK still have the highest rate of teenage pregnancies? And are most of these teenagers 14 plus?

The celebs nowdays are mostly junkies anyway....what morals would they have?....none......what you see with them is what you get.......snorting coke,hidden cameras etc.
They get paid far too much money for doing nothing.

If you get a few drinks, a meal, or maybe a nice blouse or two out of it you aren't doing it for free.

If someone wants to make a career out of it then that is fine too...both men & women.

It's none of my business how others conduct their sex lives. If they are free and single, clean & safe what is the problem?

I don't think that suggesting people that sleep around are into drugs or other vile habits is very fair.

I know quite a few people who sleep around, it's up to them what they do and I certainly don't condone their behaviour but none of them are involved in drugs or any other 'vile habit'.

I have slept with a fair few "laydees", I don't brag about it because i dont need to. If someone asks me I will normally give them an accurate (ish) figure lol.
