Calf High Boots

I am looking for a pair of calf or knee high black leather boots to wear with a pretty new skirt that ive bought, the only problem is all the ones ive tried on never fit me around the calf and top of the boot ( i am a larger lady!) can anyone recommend a website or shop to try to get myself a pair.

A reconmendation:- If you've got chunky calves, get knee-length, not calf-length boots. Calf-length make your legs look calves look even chunkier.

my wife bought a pair of boots that have different calf widths from a shop in Bath. I have no idea what the shop was called tough sorry

Maybe you could buy a pair that fit your feet and then take them to a cobbler for alteration at the calf?

Dorothy Perkins used to do a really nice knee high boot which had a stretchy panel in the back to allow for larger leg sizes......Barretts are also quite good for this

My mum has the same difficulty with boots, but she finds that the clothes shop Evans have quite a good range in wider style shoes :)

the answer that u are looking for is Duo of Bath, they make knee lenght boots in a whole wrange of calf widths. they have a very stylish range to suit all types. hope u find what u are looking for.

I have a similar problem myself.  There is a company called Duo of Bath who do various calf sizes in a range of boots.  the website is www.duoofbath.co.uk.

I got my wider ones from a Scholl shop.  I believe K's do wider boots as well.

Duo boots in Bath they are fab and the staff are fantastic.  My calf size is very deceptive peopl sem to think it's smailler than it really is.  It's worth the travel.  the prices rance form �90 to �150.

Try Evans they're not fantastic but worth a look before you venture into Bath
