Are you sure about that 4getmenot? Any blood taken from donors is thoroughly checked + tested for nasties.

on the questionaire it asks if youve had anal sex doesnt it, thus removing any hetrosexual that have done so too

No they cannot give blood, because of the statistically much higher risk of HIV. The questions before blood donation also exclude many groups of people whose lifestyle puts them at risk of HIV.

No idea on the organ donation though, sorry.

so no-one knows the answer then?? they dont specifically ask if you've had anal sex, but it says are you a hetrosexual that has had sex in the last 6 months. I know hetros cant as my mate is gay and he cant but he's never mentioned being an organ donar, I think this is wrong that we dont take urgently needed organ from htrosexuals, surely these can be tested the same as blood from homosexuals is

to catch hiv if partner infected on anal giving is 1 in 300


to catch hiv if partner infected on vaginal recieving is 1 in 50
to catch hiv if partner infected on vaginal giving is 1 in 1000
