Yes!
A tattoo on any boney area will hurt more then having it done somewhere where there is more flesh.
I've got 2 - one on my arm & one on my breast & I was fine with them both (scared sh*tless when I first went though!)

yeah misschatty it deffo does. i have one going from the top of my foot at the bottom of my middle toe that runs over the top and down towards the heel round my ankle bone, (its a fairly large flower design with lots of detail and shading), but i dont think it would matter wot size you get as the pain is goin to be the same, so id go and get it, it will be worth the pain wen it is finished.

i have an ankle band, feathers come from it and run right down my foot to the middle toe, it hurt like hell when i had it done, but it does look good, if you like that sort of thing!

Yes! As has been said, because it's so close to bone compared to fleshier areas like arm or leg.

However, worth it for the long-term beauty of new artwork! Go for it, Miss! x

but... i have a tattoo on the top of my foot, approx 1 inch diameter. its a bit lower than the base of my 2 smallest toes. yes, it hurt, but not that bad. whole thing only took about 15 mins. it was my first and i ended up saying to him 'is this as bad as its gonna get' and it was. my friend however had a tattoo that took about 40 mins, on the offside of the top of her butt cheek and she had a whitey and felt quite ill. my experience was that it was not worse than epilating your legs!

hey misschatty just on to find out if you got round to getting your tattoo, and if so wot did you get and how did you find the pain lol
