Bi/Gay/Straight
8 Answers
Ok I don't know why lm asking this but it might have happened somewhere in the world. I have a friend (bloke) that used to be in a relationship with a bloke but is now married. Someone said he must be bi then. But then I thought some gay people get married to the opposite sex to hide the fact that they are gay. So I was wondering do you think any person has ever pretended to be gay but was really straight? I've really confused myself but help if you know what I mean.

"All my friends are gay, I was just trying to fit in. Sometimes I'd go to a straight bar and pick up a girl.. but I think my parents will be cool with it; my brother's straight.."
I don't think so. Pretending to be straight is understandable but why pretend to be gay? Unless the convention was the gay was the norm, which it's not. Only 1 in 10.

My mum gave birth to 8 children with my dad(one died). Then when I was about 3 years old she started living with another woman,I wasn't living at home as I was brought up in kids homes along with my 3 brothers and 3 sisters. My mum subsequently has 3 other lesbian partners who she lived with at various times. The first one she lived with is now married with kids.............confusing or what???

Yeah I like in a pickles answer.
Why would anyone STRAIGHT choose to subject themselves to the negative attitude some narrow minded folk have about gay folk.
Also agree that it's the PERSON you fall in love with and not the gender (though obviously there is much to be said for physical attraction)
and finally (for me personally at least) i think for MANY folk there can be "an inkling" to be attracted to a member of the same sex....that doesn't necessarily mean you're bi...just a normal sexual being.

My cousin was married and then got divorced. She then had a serious three year lesbian relationship. Now she is happily married to a man. She doesn't view herself as a lesbian or bi (but happily admits that she had a lesbian relationship). She just says that she met her ex-girlfriend and fell for her as a person.
