Jail For Woman Who Packaged Fake Viagra

A woman who supplied thousands of fake Viagra pills has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.

Shazia AmjadShazia Amjad, 39, of Uxbridge, Middlesex, packaged the drugs in her garden shed.

Police found medicine worth more than �250,000, including three types of Viagra pills, slimming tablets, painkillers and steroids during a raid on her property last November.

They also found 12 passports and 30 blank credit cards, in a joint operation with the Medicines &

I'd still never trust any medicine in that type of category though. Same with Chinese herbal remedies. they can be very "iffy".

I was in Mexico last week and it's the same as India: you can buy Viagra, antibiotics etc over the counter at pharmacies. But I'd be very wary of buying any medicine from websites, you simply have no way of knowing whether they're legit. Even if someone recommends one on the basis of a previous purchase, it doesn't follow that all the drugs they sell are genuine. Maybe I'm over-suspicious of the internet, but I think medicines aren't something to take risks with.
