Doesn't it just mean people are likely to marry earlier and soon after meeting, and that their wedding night will be anything but wonderful?

Sex is part of a relationship in my opinion and you can't make a decision on marrying someone if you haven't explored ALL there is about that person.

Also because, I couldn't resist my hubby before we were married!

mistys, I don't see an issue with sex before marriage-I think abstinence isn't for everyone, although each to their own and all that. I just think you need to be compatible in every way with a partner before committing to marriage. Sex is about enjoyment, not putting up and shutting up (excuse the pun :S)

Getting married to a person you had never had sex with is an insult to the institution of marriage. My wife and I were together ten years before we felt we could honestly be married and understand the commitment we were making.
