Are we more like our grandparents?
5 Answers
I expect many of us have heard that we are supposed to be more like our grandparents than our parents. Suggesting, looks, personality and ailments tend to skip a generation. I was thinking about this and I wondered if there is any scientific foundations to this or is it just a myth? Any suggestions appreciated Ricko

I stand out from my close family being 6'2 as my mum sis n dad aren't all that tall. My mum says Im like my grandad was too, i think he was quite light hearted like me and ild heard the saying that you're personality tends to jump a generation so that begged my question really : -)
i've found even though i dont see my grandma very often my personality in my opinion is very similar to hers i also have her chin but i think you get a bit of allsorts in you like a pick & mix bag of sweets some you pick from the environment and the way you live your life and the mix is your genes from that long history in your family.
