My period goes heavy for 3days stops for a day, and then has a brown dry discharge, and then cont. to lightly bleed for 3 more days. Is this normal? Do i still count day one to day 15 for my fertile days?

This may be normal for you, but I suggest you ask your doctor. If you find it a bit embarrassing, see if you can get an appointment with a lady doctor or the practice nurse. There's probably nothing wrong, but better safe than sorry don't you think?
