i am a diabetic and have appointments at my local hospital every 6 months and eye clinic appointments every 4 months at a different bigger hospital.
all my notes are on computer under my hospital reference number, and i was just curious to know what the doctors and specialists write after theyve seen me at my appointments.
for instance yesterday, my eye specialist entered my hospital number into his computer while i was sitting there and read a letter that was from my doctors practice.
i tried to have a peek, but my eyes were a bit blurry from the dilation drops id had put in so i couldnt focus properly lol.
so, really, its for no special reason why id like to see my notes, i guess its just curiosity to see their comments.
i doubt theres anything of real interest on them anyway!

Hi Looobylooo
I work in my local hospital and if you write into the Health Records Depatrment/ Medical Records Department and request to see your notes they should send you a form to ask for your details. With us the charge is 10. You would go into the Records office and view them, if you want a copy to keep i think the charge is a bit more!
