removing hair colour

I've just had a semi permanent hair colour on and its much to dark, has anyone any ideas what I can do to wash it out. Thanks.

I've heard (i think anyway) that washing your hair repeatedly in washing up liquid may strip some of the colour off.

Head and Shoulders takes the dye out

If Suave shampoo is available there get that. When i was trying to get rid of my semi-permanennt hair color for permanent my hair dresser said to use it. The cheap shampoos kill the color.

When my daughter dyed her hair black, and didn't like it, our hair dresser recommended washing it in Head and Shoulders to strip the colour, so you could try this.

Head and shoulders used to work when it was more of a medicated shampoo. However since it has "evolved" into more of an ordinary high street brand it doesn't work any more for removing colour.

Visit your hairdresser and see if she can recommend anything for stripping the colour
