Help can anybody tell me how to get rid of dandruff i have tryed every thing my hair keeps SNOWING.

How often do you wash your hair? Your scalp is too dry.

Maybe it's not dandruff, but some other kind of scalp condition. You should ask to see a Dermatologist or Trichologist.

My husband suffers terribly with dandruff as he has to wear a hair net and hat for work ( food production). He was prescribed Betnovate Scalp application and it works wonders. Try seeing your G.P

i have dandruff, because i have eczema. as recommended - go and speak to your doctor if you feel nothing is working. there is an amazing shampoo i use when it gets really bad - selsun blue. a little bit pricey, but well worth having a go. hope you get sorted xx

I wash my hair 4-5 times a week, my hairdresser said it might be stress i got some shampoo from doctor,s thanks for your idea,s i will go to the shop,s tomorrow NO i do not want to be bald.

Selsun works for me, only used occasionally when needed.

'Nizoral', Boots own brand Dandruff Shampoo is excellent, expensive, but excellent., really works.

It would be best if you go back to your GP & explain that the shampoo didn't work. If the GP doesn't have something else for you to try - & I'm pretty sure there will be a few more - ask for a referral to a skin specialist. I've heard of several different people messing around for years with the wrong treatments until they see the specialist who cures them in a week or two with the correct treatment!

polytar. good for dry scalp and all that jazz. also not expensive. i swear by it.
also check your conditioner, it may not be rich enough for you
