I dont know what to do!

My boyfriend is going away to uni in a week+i dont know what to do! We've been together for 3years+ the longest we've been apart is 3weeks. i cant move there at the min+im finding it really hard to cope! Please help!!

yep it is hard. on the other hand if you really want to you can get through it. me and my girlfriend did. you can see each other every couple of weeks and then you get the holidays. i dont think you should move there tho.

I agree that it is hard! My husband and I had a long-distance relationship before we were married. We fell in love in 1999. The problem was that he lived in Sweden and I lived in Scotland. It was difficult, but we managed. We kept in regular contact via e-mails etc and some telephone calls. We spent 6 weeks each summer together (3 in Scotland and 3 in Sweden) and a few long weekends during the year. Some people say "out of sight, out of mind" but I believe that if you are really in life, the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder". It certainly did in our case. We got married in 2002 and I live in Sweden now.

if it's strong enough to last it will. don't bother worring about it cause it will just stress you out and make things worse. think of it as a test. if you really loved someone, distance would not be a problem. and as shirls mentioned it really could make the heart grow fonder. if youve been together 3 years, i really think u have nothing to worry about :)
