Hiya,
My 18 month old daugher's had a rash on her tummy for the past few days. They're raised spots/pimples. I don't know whether it could be
i) we've changed our washing powder to fairy (we were using biological before)
ii) bubble bath - johnson's bedtime lavender
iii) she had a jab last fri - but my husband thinks she had it before then.
As I said, the rash is raised and seems to get worse in the bath (I'm just using a tiny bit of infacare for now) so I've been rubbing sudocrem into it. Does anybody know what the best cream would be?
Thanks

the cause could be anyone of the problems you mention try useing aqueous cream or get a doctors appointment to rule out something like eczema good luck
Is the rash bothering her? If not I wouldn't apply cream to it unless advised to do so by the pharmacist or doctor. Sometimes cream can block the pores and make it worse. You need to work out what has caused the rash. I would stop using the bubble bath and go back to using the old washing powder. You can get natural bubble bath and soap called Aveno which is also good for children with eczema. I think it is sold in Boots or if the rash is confirmed to be eczema the doctor will be able to prescribe it.
The skin could be irritated by the nappy rubbing on it, also it may be slight heat rash from the nappy...try letting her go about without it as much as you can....hope it clears up soon! x
