a doctors prescription would be cheaper. this sort of over the counter remedy is ok but not as effective as what the doctor could prescribe. If you do not have a doctor ask your local pharmacist for advice.

Thanks elaine
How about trying Tea Tree Oil ? Its quite oily (of course) so put a sock on after use, preferably before going to bed. Wash your foot thoroughly and then a few drops of oil. Good luck.
The only thing that worked for me were the tablets i got from the doctor.

thanks for all the answers
The over the counter one did nothing to cure my nail infection.
Doctor prescribed me Loceryl liquid in a box which worked very well. He prescribed multiple boxes (several months worth) on same form so i just paid the one charge.Cost of one prescription vs 12. i know which i'd choose.

thanks for that
My dad had a fungal nail infection on his large toe, i found out if you put vicks ( like you use when you have a cold ) all over the infected nail and get some under the top of the nail every night for a while cover with a plaster you will see a vast improvment, well he did. Have a go and see you will be surprised.

how weird yes will try that, hope your not kidding lol
LOL no im not kidding, but you cant expect it to work over night you have to be patient but you will see an improvment.
Why not simply cut the toe off? ;o))
