Ever since this morning, I've had a weeping eye. The eye fills up then the tear topples over. Does anybody know what's causing it and what I can do to help it? It's even worse when I'm outside. It isn't sore or anything. Just wondered somebody could tell me what it is.

I have had the same thing for the last day or so, I would like to know what it is.......
i know because iv got it myself, have you ever been told that you have a blocked or deformed tear duct? if so you have got my problem m8, go and see your doctor if it persistes and its not one of the above causing the problem.
so its quite common I suppose....
could just be some teensy irritation, like a dust particle, that the eye is trying to clear, though it's unusual to take so long to do so. Otherwise a duct blockage is possible. If it's still going tomorrow, see your GP

Thank you everybody. I've still got it today but not so bad and now I'm needing to sniff often. Glad to hear it's quite common.
