i posted a question last week about a mssed period.i am now 8 days late and have done two tests both negative.i'm not emotional havent put on weight breasts arent tender etc.
i really want to ask two things.how likely is it that i could be pregnant?
is it worth seeing my doc or will s/he just do the same kinda test i have done?
i really dont want or need a baby now so if i am pregnant i want to know as early on as possible
all advice appreciated
p.s. i am a little worried but not majorly as i know worrying too much is likely to make my period less likely to arrive
TIA :-D

Is your period normally exactly the same time every month?
did you have unprotected sex?

have you been using the contraceptive pill but been ill or sick and had unprotected sex?

i forgot to say i am on the pill and its usually regular give or take a day or two.havent been ill or sick but have been very stressed.have had unprotected sex with my partner as i am on the pill and we have both been tested for any nasties
should i see a doc or just put it down to stress as i have a lot going on the moment?
if you are taking the pill properly (without missing any) it is highly unlikely that you would be pregnant, It may be down to stress, pregnancy tests rarely throw up false negatives

grivitate it may just be a laugh to you but its my life being discussed.if you cant give a helpful answer please dont answer at all
If you are worried and stressed about it then see a doctor to put your mind at rest - it would be better for you to know sooner rather than later. I believe that home test pregnancy kits are pretty accurate but there may be another reason why you are not getting your period - have you normally had regular periods? If you see your doctor then he/she may want you to have a blood test to find out if you might be pregnant. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck.
