Bless you , it must be hard to wake up and still feel the heart felt pain of your loss . I just don't know what to say hun , you'll still feel raw as it's early days . Take and accept every emotion you feel and go with it , work through it , you WILL come out the other end of this honey . xxx

Question Author
never too late for a ((hug))
hi mamyalynne
so sorry to hear of your loss
i know its slightly different but my partner lost his parents exactly 60 days apart in early 2005 so i know how badly it effects someone to lose a loved one and more so i imagine for you as he was your life partner
my partner says it doesnt get any easier you just learn to live with it i dont know if you agree.i would say take as long as you need to grieve as there is no right or wrong way.anyone who says you should be over it or you need to move on is so wrong and obviously is talking rubbish to put it politely.i know my partner felt very guilty initially enjoying himself and getting on with life when his parents were no longer around i dont know if this applies to you.it sounds like you had a happy life together and you can take comfort in how happy you made him right until his last day
i hope you can find happiness in your future and remember all the wonderful years you had together.sorry if i am rambling
all the best to you and a great big hugxxxx
Question Author
Cheers catcuddler, yes guilt does feature like when ive cooked something as we both loved our food and i fill up its not the same eating alone. Yes you are right it is very different to losing a parent, hard to put into words.
But i have to keep strong to help look after the next generations just as Bill would have wished.
Is a comfort to know there are so many people to chat about it with.
Mamyaxx

Awww, what thoughtful answers!
Better late than never...<<<<<Big Hug>>>>>>

The only advice I can give is don't look to the future, just take life one day at a time.xxxx
Well I actually am not so new :0), we actually did talk a little when you were going through your loss a few weeks back, I remember being on and leaving some of my thoughts, but that's ok - I know how much turmoil you were in at the time, it's understndable that you don't recognise roosi!!!! It's what we're here for - the most important thing is that you are healing albeit slow and sometimes it feels like it never ends, but one day at a time Mamya, and hopefully you will wake to see the sunshine in all it's glory and be able to reflect on all your precious and lovely memories of your husband without (as much) of the hearbreak you are experiencing currently.

Thoughts and hugs
