Reoccuring Dream

For years now I have een dreaming about a high school boyfriend. I havent seen him since school which was 7 years ago now. Over the years the dreams have changed sightly. To begin with, we were in mid arguement and he was crying & I cudnt get to him then it changed to him crying and me trying to comfort him and now its the two of us back togeather again. The thing is though when I wake up and feel as though I need to see him again, which Ive tried to do but cant seem to track him down. These dreams are so powerful that I even feel as though I miss him, which is crazy considering I dont even know him anymore. Anyone got any ideas what this means?? My sanity is at stake!
