dodgey throat??

For a few days i feel as if there is something stuck on the right side of my throat! i cant physicallysee or feel a lump, but its quite annoying, no pain though! has anyone experianced this before?

It could be a Quinsy, i've had two, and they are not nice, thay start out as an irritant, and grow.

i.ll go to the doctors tommorow, and see what he says. squad617... im 40yrs old non smoker, slightly overweight and no earache! however i am obsessed that ive got bad breath (for last 18months)doctor gave me zantac 150mg but dont know if they worked as one cant smell ones own breath! thanks for all other anwsers too, you,re a fab bunch of abbers xx
OK, two points.
First - you may have scratched your easophagus (sp?) with something sharp when you swallowed. This will make the lining swell for a day or so, which feels like something stuck, even though there isn;t - and it will go down.
Secondly - you can smell your breath.
Find a patch of skin on your inner arm where you haven't sprayed perfume. Stick your tongue out as far as possible, and lick the patch of skin, get as much of your tongue on your arm as you can - lick for about four inches.
Let the saliva dry, and smell it. That smell - or not, as the case may be, is what your breath smells like today.
