My husband experiences severe and sudden attacks of jaw pain sometimes when he eats. It is usually when he has eaten a spicy Indian or Chinese restaurant meal, but has also happened at home and when eating more bland foods. Also seems to be triggered off by beer. The attacks start when he's finished eating and usually last about 20 mins. He describes the pain as 'stabbing' and they are so severe that he often cries out in pain. I've never heard of anything like this, wondered if anyone else has?
