checking your balls for cancer

well I have read about jade goody which i find very upsetting althiough im not a big fan of hers and I thought I had better check my balls for cancer. as i work alone on nightshift i unzipped my trousers and start to have a feel aroud and makesure everything was ok. when low and behold the safety officer walks in. He must have thought I was doing something else. i dread to think what. so do you check your balls?

Yes, every day. In fact our local radio station have a 'feel your bits Friday'. The poor female presenter had to feel the male presenters erm 'bits' on air. Thats dedication for you!

you probably have to be aware of what's normal for you.. and you won't know unless you check regularly!

sara is right, get used to whats normal for you then you can detect anything unusual, don't be embarrsed to go to your G.P's if you are worried about owt!!!! You could ask at your local clinic for a leaflet on testicular cancer.

I found a lump - went to the doctor and my usual one was not on duty. A female doctor saw me and offered to check me. She said 'I bet you were horrified when you found out it was me'
I didn't have the courage to say I thought it a bonus!!
For the record - just a cyst.

She is excellent. Asked me if I wanted to wait for a male doctor. I'm no delicate flower, I'm not in any danger of being sexually molested by anyone (more's the pity). My thoughts were the only unprofessional part of the experience!!
