Yes, they definitely do. I asked my pharmacist which were the best, most effective ones, cos there's lots of things like Kalms on the market now, and he said Kalms are the best and most reliable. I feel better for using them. And have bought some for my sister cos she's going through the menopause, they're good for that too.

Do they help you if you're feeling nervous about social situations?

Tah for advice :)
I found them really good though I did end up a bit more chilled out than I anticipated :)

Might be good for you hon, my job isn't a very chilled out firendly hence why they were a little too much for me :)
Yes they're good for combatting anxiety too. Ask your pharmacist about them, and read the info on the box. They cost between four and five pounds. I hope that's enough info. I'm off to bed now.
Yes, these do work. Took them before a scarey exam and they worked. A friend who they had also worked for told me about them. Great product which does what it says on the box.
They helped me through truck driving tests as I got very nervous.

However I think a smartie would have had the same effect, if I was told they would calm me down.

I think it's all in the mind.
I swear by rescue remedy. 4 drops under the tongue and they seem to relieve anxiety. I use them when travelling as well.

great answers guys, thanks!
No. I tried loads of different things and this dd not work. If you are really stressed out of your head you need to see your GP
they really did not help me at all!!! I guess it depends on the level of stress / anxiety. I ended up going to the GP (aftery I started to "self medicate" with alcohol instead - starting at 7:30am! ...daily. :-( .....all okay now though - a visit to GP is worth it
They didn't work for me at all. I've been told they're a placebo which is maybe why they work for some people and not for others
Didn't work for me either. In fact, they made me feel really ill.
They are not a placebo as they have Valerian in them which is scientifically proven to work.
If your stress or depression is very bad then you'll need something stronger from the doctor.
But Kalms do exactly what they're supposed to do.
