Tender Teeth

Can anyone settle an arguement - Is tender teeth a sign of pregnancy, im sure ive heard that it is. Does anyone know isf its true?

Possibly, as I know that if you dream about teeth then it could mean you are pregnant, also if you dream about cats. I know that's not really answering the question - sorry!

I have heard that sensitive teeth can be a sign - on the other hand - practically anything can be a sign of pregnancy - depends on the individual.

I've never heard that, perhaps you're getting confused with the way that during pregnancy women are more prone to bleeding gums?

Well I have been pregnant several times and I have NEVER had sensitive teeth as a symptom (I am assuming this is what you meant?) I suppose it would depend on the person, however it isn't one of the common symptoms that the majority of women have such as nausea, needing the loo more frequently, going off certain foods etc etc.

being pregnant definitely affects your teeth because of a larger use of calcium in the body or something like that, hence free dental treatment when your pregnant. whether it makes them tender though, i don't know
