How old are you?

Whereabouts do you live?
maybe you can put a positive spin on it, you have no plans so you can do whatever you want! why not have a think about something you really like to do that you never have time for or just never get around to doing.

give yourself a real treat
Awww bless you, I've no suggestions, I just wanted to say that your post made me really sad for you.

Really hope you have a brilliant birthday whatever you decide to do xxxx
firstly ..happy birthday rowie...is there anything you like..eg. the seaside etc..you could always just take off on the train/bus etc to a seaside town for the day. sometimes it can be magical to have a day away from everything, all to yourself and it dosen't have to cost a lot of money.

I will be 30. Thank you all x
there's gotta be something you would like to do for a day..at 30 you should be out grabbing the world by the [email protected] it just takes you to give yourself a little shove in the right direction... :0)
ps. i'll put up a happy birthday thread for ya on sat..just to show you we're all thinkin of ya.
happy 30th rowie, go nuts!! you are only young once
Been trying to think what I would think about doing if in the same situation.

Would pick something I really enjoy like going horseriding or going somewhere really special to do some photography.

Or some full on pampering, a nice massage and facial and maybe a luxury pedicure.

A trip to the seaside would be cool, eating fish and chips on the seafront and a nice icecream :)
30 - book yourself in for a day at the spa. I've been to the spa a few times on my own and always find more than 1 other person on their own.

Well happy birthday to come, rowie. I agree with what the others've said - get out there and try something new, or get stuck into your fave sport or hobby. Failing that, you can always come on here. Still enough nice folk around for you to have a laugh with.
How about going to see a really good film especially if you live near one with a special Gallery where you get big comfy seats and can get a nice drink and help yourself to lots of yummy food :)

You could always book in on a day or few hours long course like skiing. climbing or go karting or similar.

Hi rowie, yeah, I'm 30 in june and I was thinking the same thing about my Birthday actually!

I thought your 30th was supposed to be a big event, with family and friends etc. But I have a very small family (it's really just me, my mum and her partner, no siblings or cousins) and a small circle of just a few friends. So I doubt that I'll be having a massive party or anything like that!

We should have an online party for you on here! Ha.

I think you're made to feel a bit sad if you don't go out and get hammered on your 30th, but that'd be the last thing I'd want to do on my Birthday.

Anyway, I hope you have a good day, whatever you decide to do!
That's a good idea, beaniesq. Hope someone starts a party on here for rowie, with lots of nice music links and funny comments. x
