I can't find anything on this while searching the net, so I'd be grateful for any advice.

Since I can remember, I've always had these red "corn beef" type veins on the back of my hands. They're not protruding, its just unsightly. They come and go, but seem to go away if I rub it (maybe warm it up?).

So in short, if anyone can tell me either a) the name of these "corn beef " veins (and they are ONLY on the back of my hand) and b) how I can get rid of them, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Thanks but its not that. I've seen some images of "spider naevi" and the veins are thicker, not like spider legs. And I've realised that these corn beef veins are not so red either, more purpleish.
O.K Try Spider Angiomas

Its not that either. There's no central point to it and its not bright red or as thin as those things you've mentioned.

Thanks for your advice though, I am wondering now what it could be as I really can't find anything (or any photos) on it anywhere.
