I had a laparotomy operation a month ago,does anybody have any idea how much time it takes to make a full recovery,as the surgeon gave me no idea whatsoever.

Laparotomy is just exploratory, leading to someting else e.g appendicectomy or gall bladder removal etc.

More information needed before question can be answered.
I've had two serious stomach operations over the years and I reckon it can take from 4 to 6 months before you are back to normal. You may feel OK earlier than that but you won't have your normal level of stamina or strength.
I would suggest that you take your time getting better and don't rush things.
